About Kamas and Marion
Kamas and Marion are bedroom communities a mere 15-18 minutes east of Park City. These two bucolic townships sit at the entrance to the Uintah National Forest area and are largely undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of Utah's larger urban centers. These family oriented communities enjoy short approaches to otherwise remote mountain wilderness terrain ideal for backpacking, camping, fly-fishing, rock climbing, mountain biking and backcountry ski touring. Take a drive out Mirror Lake Highway to cabin country--offering both year round and seasonal access properties. The area is especially popular among horse owners and rugged outdoors enthusiasts for its "Wild West" feel and vast property boundaries. Check out High Star Ranch, Wild Willow and Grassy Creek just to name a few wonderful family developments. Want a great pizza then try the Summit Inn. Gateway Grill is a sleeper for fantastic dishes-located in the heart of Kamas.
